Wine production in Moldova has reduced by 23,9%

In January-October 2009, production of wine in Moldova has reduced by 23,9% - up to 1204,9 million leis ($108,7 million).

 

As "InfoMarket" agency was informed in the National Bureau of Statistics, for 10 months of this year in comparison with the same period of 2008, production of the distilled alcoholic drinks in cash has reduced by 22,9 % - up to 321,2 million leis ($29 million).

 

The experts have explained the decrease in volumes of alcohol production output by the influence of the world financial-economic crisis. It can be reminded that in 2008 the production of wine in Moldova in cash has grown by 26 % - up to 2 billion 163,3 million leis ($195,2 million) and production of distilled alcoholic drinks-by 6,2 % - up to 490,5 million leis ($44,3 million).
