The Moldovan Wine Guild has been asked to join FIVS – the worldwide trade federation for all sectors of the global alcohol beverage industry.

 

Nelly Sonic – President of the Moldova Wine Guild, as well as Deputy President of the Lion Gri wine producing company – said to your Infotag correspondent that over 1 million different companies are members of FIVS.

 

"The federation joins producers, importers and exporters, distributors, trade companies that go in for wines and alcohol beverage industry", Sonic said.

 

FIVS was created in Paris in 1951. Its main purpose is to contribute to the success of the world alcohol beverage industry.

 

"The FIVS international association is based on the principle of corporate social responsibility, relying on the consumer’s interest in alcohol goods", Nelly Sonic said, adding she hopes the Moldova Wine Guild will become a full-right member of FIVS in March.
